Netley Hall was commissioned in 1858 to celebrate the marriage and coming together of the Hope and Edwards families. To this day, the sculpted faces of both bride and groom can be seen carved into the Brook Suite fireplaces.
Constructed in 1855 by Shrewsbury architect, Edward Haycock. The current Netley Hall, a splendid example of Georgian architecture, holds a grade II listing. He created a magnificent home with outstanding landscaped grounds and naturally elegant fresh water lakes.
In 2001, Michelle Poole purchased Netley Hall to raise her family, personally overseeing a three-year renovation project costing upwards of three million pounds. Under her guidance, the Hall was meticulously returned to its full former glory.
Netley remained a family home until 2017 when Michelle decided for the first time in over a century, that this fine building should open its doors to the public.
Today, Michelle’s family, honour her legacy by sharing the glory of Netley Hall and fulfilling her lifetime ambition to open a spectacular venue.
