Booking Terms and Conditions for Accommodation at Netley Hall Estate
General
Please show consideration to other guests and to members of staff at Netley Hall and have respect for the accommodation that you are in. On departing please leave your accommodation in a clean and tidy condition.
You will be held responsible for any damage occurred during your stay. We reserve the right to charge you, during or after your stay for any loss or damage to the accommodation. We reserve the right to enter the accommodation at any time for any reason. Please do not remove items from your accommodation even if they are left in other parts of the estate. Any missing items will be charged to your credit card.
Please check your accommodation carefully prior to you leaving as we do not accept liability for things left behind.
Bookings
Upon booking a 10% deposit will be taken, this is followed by a further 40% payment 6 months before your stay is due to commence. If the first day of your stay is within 6 months of booking then 50% of the total will be due and charged immediately. The remaining 50% is due on arrival at Netley Hall. Cheques are not accepted.
Group Bookings
All group bookings in excess of 10 persons are accepted subject to the approval of Netley Hall. Members for the same family and/or friends who are previously known to each other, or travelling together/or reside at the same address will be considered as a group for the purposes of these terms, irrespective of separate bookings being made.
Disabled guests
If you have special requirements please let us know at the time of the booking. We will try our best to meet these requirements but they cannot always be guaranteed.
Visitors
Should you have family/friends staying in the area, you are welcome to entertain them in your accommodation. We do ask however that you advise us of the registration number of any vehicle being left on the estate over night for security purposes.
Arrival and departure times
Your accommodation will be available on the day of arrival from 3:00pm*. Please bring your confirmation of booking with you. If you have not previously supplied it, your credit card details and identification document will be required on check in. Our reception is open 24/7. Please check out no later than 11:00am on the day of departure. Late check outs will incur an additional charge equivalent to one extra night’s stay.
*The Burway (swimming pool) suite is available for check in from 5:00pm and check out no later than 2:00pm.
Changing the date of your booking
Please inform us immediately should you wish to change the date of your stay. All changes are subject to availability and will incur a £20 (plus vat) booking fee. You will also incur additional charges if the cost of the accommodation is higher. If you wish to change your booking it must be done by telephone and then confirmed in writing. Bookings may not be changed within 14 days of the arrival date.
Where you have booked with us via a voucher or by utilising a special discount of any kind bookings cannot be altered once made.
Cancellation of your booking
Please inform us immediately should you wish to cancel your booking. If you wish to cancel your booking it must be done by telephone and then confirmed in writing.
Where you have booked with us via a voucher or by utilising a special discount of any kind bookings may be cancelled but there will be no refund due. All other bookings if cancelled will be subject to the following payments:
Number of days before the start of your holiday that notification of cancellation is received by Netley Hall Holidays
Amount payable by you:
More than 14 days from the first day of your stay - 50% of the total cost of your accommodation.
Less than 14 days from the first day of your stay -100% of the total cost of your accommodation.
We recommend that you take out holiday insurance at the time of your booking to protect yourself against any losses arising in the event that you have to cancel your booking for any reason.
Cancellation or Changes of your booking by us
If for any reason we have to change or cancel a booking we will advise you as soon as possible in writing, and either provide you with alternative accommodation comparable to the one booked, or a full refund.
We will not be liable for any other loss or expense that may be incurred as a result of such cancellation.
Sleeping arrangements
Our accommodation descriptions show the ideal number that the accommodation will sleep. Under no circumstances may more than the maximum number of persons indicated stay over night in the accommodation.
Children
Children aged twelve years and under may not be left alone without full adult supervision. Children remain the responsibility of parents or guardians at all times.
We do not provide cots or the bed linen for cots, if you require these you should bring your own.
Breakages & Damage
With all bookings, card details and identification documents will be taken and retained on file. In the event of any breakages or damage to the cottage or its contents your card will be charged and an invoice sent to you via email or mail.
Card/Payments
You will be required to provide card details upon checking in at the hotel, failure to do so will result in your stay being cancelled.
Your card details will be stored securely and will be deleted 48 hours after your stay with us. In the event where it is necessary to charge your card due to damage or none payment we will inform you in writing before doing so.
We do not accept American Express.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is not permitted in any part of the accommodation; We reserve the right to charge you a cleaning fee of £100 plus vat when the smell of smoke is present.
Pets
Pets are not permitted in the Netley Hall bedrooms. Pets are permitted in the Holiday lodges subject to a £50 charge and prior arrangement with the Netley team. In the event that you bring an unauthorised pet into any accommodation you will be charged an additional cleaning fee of £100 plus vat and your stay will be cancelled. Assistance dogs are accepted by prior arrangement only.
Fuel, Water & Heating
There is no extra charge for electricity, water, gas and heating. The only exception to this is where a guest may want to charge an electric vehicle, please speak with reception before arrival regarding this.
Vehicles
Your vehicles, their accessories and contents are left entirely at your risk. Guests are not permitted to charge an electric vehicle on site. Guests on arrival are required to provide the registration number of their vehicle.
The Fishery
Guests may use the fishery. The cost to do so is £10 per day for up to two rods per person. Our Fishery rules are posted on our website and must be adhered to.
